Made a wild scream on the detector

Have you give it a scratch with your pocket knife? Is it metal?

It's a bluey black colour,when I scratch it it goes a dark red colour,it's only small but very heavy.

Also it was very hard to make a mark on it

Judging by the red speckled material it looks like ironstone mostly with quartz veins.

Looks like a hematite conglomerate, try putting a magnet near it.

Hematite, I agree, do a streak test on the back of a ceramic tile, if it has a Red streak it is probably Hematite.
