Just saw an ad on telly for 25% off everything at Anaconda for tomorrow, Thursday 20th March. Got my xterra 705 with dual coils there last year for $750 at one of these sales. They also sell gold pans as well as a nice selection of camping gear. Get in there early and grab yourself a bargain! Brett

Karls

I have only looked on the shelves at Belrose, next to the minelabs/pans and 4wd off-road gear, might be catalogued there??. Would think your local store should stock some if they stock them here.

Some gear is not discounted (fish finders etc) but the majority is. If you join the Anaconda Club on-line (free) you get a $10 voucher to spend on-line.

so is the stuff truly really sincerely cheap or is it % 25 off their price which brings it down to 40 % higher than what you can buy it for on ebay ?

not knocking it , just sceptical when i see the word " sale "

Just my experience, Anaconda has to be one of the most overpriced outdoor stores ive been to, I think it mostly comes down to what your shopping for but for example i was looking at a tent there (south Brisbane store ) two years back $900+ went online found the same tent from supplier $450.... now i know they ahve to pay their bills but common. I have purchased tarps there because they ahve a great range but find most of the camping/fishing gear way overpriced. Just my view maybe im spoilt for choice

A sure way is to know your prices pre sale.

That they have and now I have some extras for my boys to double the amount of pay dirt processed.

Thanks Billydg for posting this thread.

Just got back from Port Macquarie and put together out new 705 Gold $637.49 bargain in my eyes :)

Anaconda maybe overpriced on some gear...but their pre sale price on detectors are in line with Bendigo Gold and Goanna Detectors at $850
I am more than happy to have a bit over $200 knocked off the price.

I know it is a far cry from a GPX...but it is ours and we are gonna enjoy a new addition to our prospecting activities :)

The detectors were on sale last week as well.

I messaged Nugget and let him know.
