Hey everyone, thought i would show you what I have found in the backyard testing the 705. Only three coins but the oldest is the 1920 penny which I found very close the the clothesline

Plenty of crap out there but at least I know the sounds better with junk of piping

Well done mate, that's a nice old coin for your first pre-dec. It sounds like you're already getting the hang of that 705 :)

Cheers man, old man bought a garrett ace 350 so we can hit the beaches and cover some ground

Hit 2 parks today for maybe just over an hour in total and found a few coins

Used the stock round coil to get in and around the play equipment

Cheers mate, hope tomorrow morning goes just as well. Getting the old man to come out as well to give his Garrett 350 ace a go

The days will vary but overall that's not a bad effort.

I almost came home empty handed from a couple of hours detecting with Wooster yesterday, but was lucky enough to pick up a shinny Sixpence on the last stretch

niceone thats generally around my average. yet to find a spot with big hauls :(

if you ever want to catch up for a swing let us know.

Nice nugget! Angre ill deff hit you up sometime for sure, also good to have a detecting buddy

Hi - I'm sa bogan's father - and he managed to drag me out for a swing this morning - we went to a local park and I tried my new Garrett Ace 350 for the first time.

After an hour and a bit here was our haul....

I got my first per decimal, first foreign coins, and Bogan scored his first ring and a sterling silver ear ring...

I had fun and know I have a lot to learn! :)

Good one fellows, there no substitute from having the coil on the ground and dig all signals. Since you fellows are getting into it, i will let you know where my most productive spots are. Go and have a talk to your local caravan parks, these places are gold mines. I only use a screw driver to pop the targets out of the ground and use a low sensitivity, most good targets are under three inches any way. This way the park owners are happy, good luck :)

Cheers guys, will have to give it a go roscoe :)
Would have been out longer today if my car door didn't break though

It was plated but it's the first ring we have found ... I was surprised how easy it was to find the coins with the Garrett - and how plentiful they are!

lol, the 350 is pretty good.
My mate has one, he spends more time digging coins then me... I get all the silver though ;)

Went to a park today after I finished my 12 hour shift. Found only $3.40 in change and now my oldest coin

Cheers mate, was only an inch deep which explains the lawn mower damage. I'm loving the 705, very happy with my choice :) Im really looking forward to New Zealand early next year, bought a detector backpack to take it with me. Ill be recording my first video on Monday on the 705 and settings explained. I'm thinking of dropping the website name to see if we can gain more members
