I am not long back from 10 detecting days in the Inglewood area and surrounds. Not a great result in terms of gold finds but the one I did find was a worn crystalline. A little solid round (1.5g) but still showing signs of it's earlier life. Funnily enough it was within 10 metres of the car. I walked kms upon kms over 5 gold fields and this one was probably walked around many times.
I also took some pics in the Kingower area of a storm we had hoped would pass over us. Well, not quite, but anyway it was a great watch as it came up.
To top things off, I left my pick on the last site visited. Too far to go back in the time I had.
