After i finished the cleanup with the rest of the local community with what is now called the 1 in 100 year storm, 390 mm of rain in 19 hours in my town alone saw two large pleasure boats smashed up and numerous homes lost.
So i went to the beach, found now the beach is gone literally 100 metre long and 1 metre deep sand beach vanished down to the rock bed below and i found a few sinkers wedged in the rocks and a number plate that is from a boat trailer registered on the other side of the island, I took it to the local registration office and its from Clifton beach about 450 km drive from my beach.
