    We are wondering about taking a mine detecting tour in Victoria. Has anyone participated in these and if so was it worthwhile? We are about to purchase a Minelab 5000 and thought it might be a good introduction to gold detecting and a great way to spend a few days in Victorian bush....?

    Have received an email this morning from Kim - Nuggets from Downunder saying they have a new website etc. Noticed they are now offering seminars/field days, training days, training camps, demo days around the Mudgee area as well as their WA Quad Bike Adventures...

    Minelab Advice on Minelab training / trainers

    I am a new gold detecting buff. I have a Minelab GPX4500 with a 12 inch mono. I have done some basic training a while ago but being an old dude need some follow up. Can anyone recommend a good training tour for a couple of days that that goes to new locations.
