    Yeah I know. I just like how the 705 gives a numerical reading on targets. As for the medal, I believe it is aluminium as it has 'italy' stamped on the back.

    Hey Nick, I too am from Wagga and have just started metal detecting with my ace 250. I've been having trouble finding a decent place and have only detected around kolhagens and horse shoe lagoon. In saying that I'm not specifically after gold (wouldn't knock it back though). Goodluck, Tom.
