Hi all. Heading out today hoping to find a decent sapphire. Still waiting to learn what cabbing is.....and how small a stone can be cabbed?

G'day Lefty. The 'star-shaped' stone is not very big. Just liked the others :( But, as Vart says, all are special :) . As I'm learning and a little ignorant, what is cabbing and at what size can you do it (Heatho)?

Thanks guys! Am fairly certain, also, that the pink one is a pink sapphire. Have just got back from camping overnight and found a few more blues - and others. Will post pics soon. And yes, Heatho. A few carats would be nice for that one!
