Finally have a gram! It's adding up slowly

Didn't find any more nuggets, but found a couple pickers and a shotgun pellet! 0.39g of fine stuff and the nugget is 0.75g. Not a bad trip, I'll definitely go back sometime!

First day camping at Creswick and found my very first gold nugget panning! Just a question though, do nuggets tend to cluster close together? I'll be going back to that spot and don't want to get my hopes up too much haha

Found this odd-looking thing while gold detecting in Whipstick. Has a grey outer shell and copper-coloured insides-can anyone help ID?

I was inspired by this video to build my own bathyscope for prospecting. It was surprisingly easy to cut the plexiglass to shape with a pair of scissors as long as it was submerged in water. Hoping to test it out soon!
