Would this Beat the new NSW regulations on Highbanking

An idea I saw in Canada for washing, a length of plastic hose put in the fast flow area upstream will give you enough pressure to get a go flow going to use a sluice, the faster the flow the longer the hose the better.

    Bad Back Ideas?

Pin pointers certainly have their place, I used one on a good hit that turned out to be a bit of barbed wire tine 8" deep & was getting nothing until very close, had to use the sdc to let me know I still had a target in the hole, this is the situation I'm trying to make easier, not dragging a...

    Bad Back Ideas?

    Windscreen sun reflectors

Your right Redfin, though I found most thermal blankets make a bit of noise if you move, the reflector is much quieter. Got mine from super cheap auto, but other car accessory shops have them.

    Windscreen sun reflectors

With winter coming on sleeping on the ground can get a bit chilly, putting a truck size reflector underneath a mattress or sleeping bag reflects your body heat back toward you instead of loosing heat to the ground, I've even used them on beds, instant electric blanket, survival type blankets...

    Pro-find 35 at Australian Geographic

That's what it did to me also, had to put pro-find 35 into search box twice before it got me to the 35 & it said it was in stock, they really want to push the 15's.

Electric / Cordless / Battery Powered Chainsaw recommendations

With the Stihl 1/4 blade battery unit you do need the right sized file for sharpening, it's an 1/8" file I think, so double check what Stihl recommends, it's not the same as other 1/4 blades as it's a light weight blade, either way they are the ducks guts.

    New to Prospecting

Your right Aussie Farmer young people today use social media as a form of face to face conversation, with all the nutters out there it's safer than striking up a conversation with someone you don't really know especially at a pub, so they send each other a piccy & carry on from there, I looked...

    Minelab E-trac, Equinox thoughts

The Equinox is worth looking at as would be the Nokta/Makro range all about the same price, it depends on how much you want spend 1st up, how easy it is to get to sites & if you want to be able to chase a bit of gold as well as coins & stuff, got to get a baseline cost that your comfortable...

Minelab X-terra 705 General Tips, Advice, Questions

Your experience is a mirror image of mine using a Xterra 70 a long while back when they first came out, using a DD 18.75hz 10x5, could pick up every hot rock in the creek as well as every piece of rubbish, noisy as, I guess if there was a nice nugget in the creek it would pick it up. but not the...
