    Banz Detector Finds

The florin is a cool find, some sort of trench art I guess, am guessing the second item was some sort of commemorative medallion, looks to have previously been enameled as well. :Y:

Legalities of Metal Detecting in NSW Parks

Try to use hand tools vs taking a shovel into local parks, usually the first thing that locals will report in if seen in use. Also be aware of buried reticulation in the more well kept parks, a shovel hole in the wrong spot could cause a world of hurt. Responses from councils will vary on use of...

    Buckles and Bits

Has been a while since we've seen some cricket buckles unearthed on the forum, looks like a great location from those examples. How old were the coppers? :D

    Goldpick's 2020 Deus & Equinox 600 finds

Not as yet, didn't have enough time to run the Nox with the smaller coil fitted. Usually I will start out using the larger coils to detect around the whole area to check the spread of ferrous/non ferrous targets, then progress to the smaller coils as the more obvious targets are depleted. To be...

    Goldpick's 2020 Deus & Equinox 600 finds

Hi Adrian, it is indeed the Predator Raptor, I bought it online from the US several years ago. By far the best digger I've used since wearing my Lesche out (cracked in half).

    Goldpick's 2020 Deus & Equinox 600 finds

Forgot to mention the threepence is a key date and considered relatively scarce, though not exactly going to hand me an early retirement. :/

    Goldpick's 2020 Deus & Equinox 600 finds

I have been a bit lazy posting over the last week, I have actually been hitting some old ruins over a couple of days to see what the Deus and Nox could find. The ruins are well know and have seen a detector or two over the years - or so I thought. Truth is many of the good targets weren't easy...

    Golddiggerart - Detector finds...

Good day out on the spendables, the gold cross is an interesting find - do you it was handmade by someone?

Looks like a latch from some sort of storage box, well done on the silver bracelet and 3d. :perfect:

    Cyclones

I see TC Kimi has formed off Cooktown, I don't think the BOM predicted it was going to be more than a tropical low a day or two ago.

    Goldpick's 2020 Deus & Equinox 600 finds

My new Nox 6" coil arrived just in time for a trip into the field today. Last time I was out hitting a rubbish pit behind an old house site, the stock coil just wasn't cutting it on seperating out targets amongst all the buried junk, so this coil should prove more effective. Damn it is small...

    Piesse and Lubin perfume bottle - 1880 - 1900's.

If I lived in an 1800's house, I'd be out there everyday having a detect. Have you managed to find any coins at all?

No magic involved, all photos taken with a high end Samsung phone with some minor editing.

    Goldpick's 2020 Deus & Equinox 600 finds

Two sites with two detectors today, first up with the Simplex at some ww2 era house site, then onto a much older site with the Equinox. The first site had firebreaks freshly ploughed, so it was a good opportunity for a run over previously detected ground to see if any targets we missed. Not much...

    First Time Ever Detecting.

Probably safe to say that your park hasn't seen a detector before, a grand effort. :power:

    Same spot, different detector

Got some great relics there Ozzy, was the fob watch silver or plated? I am glad the Simplex+ is performing good for you, it is a great detector for the money with features and performance that you would really expect on a higher end detector. :Y:

Well done on the William shilling, not always an easy monarch to find considering the short time he was on the throne. :perfect:
