    Whinge of the day thread...

$2.53 per liter for 98 unleaded fuel this morning.... Keeps going up :) Might be time for Australia to drilling it's own. I know it would be harder and more expensive to filter it etc due to the quality of it, but it's better than filling the coffers in the middle east.

    Today I BOUGHT

Finally bought a Minelab CTX 3030 6" coil. Looking forward to hitting some trashy areas. Previously been using the stock 11" and getting good at working out what is trash or not, will be interesting to see what the difference is with the 6". Also when did Minelab move to Penrith, last time I...

    New and green

Welcome, 1,5 to 2hrs away from western Sydney makes it hard. There's basically nothing within that radius. Oberon would be the closest, that's 2 hours from Penrith.

    New Discovery..

Love April fools stuff. The picture reminded me of a quote from The Mummy (1999) movie: Rick: Is he supposed to look like that? Evelyn: No, I've never seen a mummy look like this before. He-He's still... still... Rick, Jonathan: ...juicy.

    CTX-3030 shaft pattern/weave question

Yeah mine was bought from Minersden in late 2015. They probably do various changes on different yearly revisions, try to improve things, etc. Still good to see it's the flagship treasure detector. This is a better pic:

Warranty, what you expect and what do you get?

Great support. It's good to see a company go an extra mile in regards to looking after a customer. I think nowadays with social media most places try to go an extra mile or the company might end up seeing bad comments somewhere on the internet which then hurts their future sales.

    Indian Scammers

Sometimes that's a bad thing to do, some keep calling to annoy you more or just do hang ups. I have my phone number on my business website, get 3 calls most days of the week
