Online Store is Open! Get your PA merchandise (Store closes Sunday)

Just thought I'd wake this thread up. Are members still able to buy PA merchandise? My shirt is of top quality & wouldn't mind seeing if there's any hoodies available. Also with all these group outings going on, it'd be great to see members out in their PA gear.

    Today I BOUGHT

Yesterday I bought an old miners pick @ the Rosedale Man Cave Market for $10. Looks to be in reasonable condition. Anyone know how long the pick end is originally? This one is 9" from tip to handle. Looks about right to me. I've seen pictures of much worse worn ones... Next thing is to get a...

The Angus McKirk business is for sale..

Good idea Nug :D , but same thing here - funds are tied up n tight. Add says age, ill health & no rest for 17 years is reason fo sale. They'll have no problem selling. It's a great business with a solid footprint on the market.

The Angus McKirk business is for sale..

Hey Nugget. I too seen a post of theirs on FaceBook saying the business is for sale. I hope when it sells, the new owners continue the good work. Their product sure has a good name

I hear they're good. Don't know much about them but just the chemical you put in them isn't that cheap. Filter & recycle it.

    What do you prefer

I've got neoprene lined gumboots - good as! Also got some waders that have neoprene booties sewn in. I've unstitched the Booties as I found the waders were too hard to put on once a little damp. The booties would bunch up & be very uncomfortable. Now I put the booties on & then slip into the...

Pumps for a Highbanker - information and questions

It looks to be the same as a Rato pump - different paint & stickers. Inc postage, sounds like a good deal. It'll pump plenty of water. I use a 1" pump & it does fine at half throttle for my 250mm banker. If it comes with oil, get rid of it & put your own reputable oil in it & change it after a...

Pumps for a Highbanker - information and questions

Heard good reports from the Rato pumps like what GaryO posted. Seen one running a banker earlier this year & it was fairly quiet & pumped plenty of water.

    Torch Recommendation

Sounds like a good buy for $20. More pricy, but I got Led Lenser head torch too. Used & abused for over 2 years. Going strong. Great on battery life. Being adjustable in focus and power is a bonus.
