Good question duck, I like the less known and sometimes unsung worthys and extraordinary people who have achieved great things or set fine examples for the rest of humanity.

My apologies for being absent lads and lasses, as I mentioned above we layed a comrade to rest earlier this week after he sacrificed himself to save another.
Well done numpty and yes nicko61, the ADC clue was good info. I was privileged enough to get an invite to Capt. de Crespigny's lecture on...
My apologies folks, I have had little time to scratch this week and we lost another comrade and mate last weekend in a tragic accident so, I have been somewhat distracted.
Here are a few more clues:
7. I served in the Sinai as part of the Multinational Force and Observers keeping the peace...
A few more clues:
4. During my last year of school, my mother died as a result of faulty medical equipment and negligent staff not monitoring the same equipment.
5. As a result of this tragic event, I was motivated to do well at school which I believed would have made my mother proud of me. I...
OK, here we go:
1. I am the second youngest of three sons and I am still very much alive today.
2. I went to Melbourne Grammar and grew up between Toorak and a small family property near Flowerdale north of Melbourne and my brothers and I loved tearing around the bush on an old Ariel...
Ta Bacchus,
You are very privileged to have been able to hear you Pop's first hand account of his experiences of the Siege of Tobruk. And just quietly, I reckon you would be real proud of the man too.
Whilst I'm getting dinner on I will sort out the next Q? and then post.
Regards,
The...
G'day Bacchus, The answer is Lieutenant General Sir Leslie James Morshead KCB, KBE, CMG, DSO, ED, better known as Ming the Merciless to the troops due to his tough no ******** approach to command.

Thanks blisters,
I think you have covered off on the main points. PipeclayJim, steady on, no personal attack from me here, I wrote to ask everyone to give me a fair go in getting my product up and running and to let my demo speak for its self rather than arrive at a conclusion without any...
Remembering the gallant and brave men who fell in wars past and those I farewelled at a Ramp Ceremony, I give thanks and spare thoughts for you and those who grieve for you. You shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary you, nor the years condemn. At the going down of...
Never had the site crash on me. I now use Chrome with Adblock and I find my wireless broadband is much faster without 2 GB of ads every month sucking up my data and stopping me seeing what I want to rather than useless video ads etc.

I am not in a positions to constructively criticise or give an opinion of someone else's device that I am not familiar with.
I am however well placed to know my devices characteristics and capabilities intimately which are quite different to what I have seen in the public domain. But, since...
Good afternoon comrades,
For general information regarding my crevicing device, this weekend I am heading out to either Hill End of Nundle for a dig. As I generally go out on my own, I have not had the benefit of a camera operator to take some video of my device in action to demonstrate its...
Gday Flip, pleased for another member to get on board. I lived in Perth for a few years and managed to get out and see a bit of WA. A mate of mine lived at Nullagine for a few years, I took a pan up one trip and put a few buckets through it at a spot on a river crossing a few km out of town. I...
Very nice benda, very nice. I don't like wishing my life away but...hurry up Thursday and I will be back out to Hill End for a long weekend.

Whilst I am at show n tell this arvo, here are the Pacific War coke bottles that came back from Guadalcanal. On the base you can see their place of manufacture, not sure about the visibility of the dates which are on the side of each bottle at the bottom.

Afternoon all,
Time for a bit of show n tell:
My maternal Grandfather was a sheep grazier out around Gunnedah until the 60's when he retired to Tamworth and bought a smaller property at Nemingha, just so he could keep on terrorising his bank manager. He was not a man of pleasant disposition...
