Victorian residents: Petitions opposing further National Parks & restrictions on access to state forests

No mate, that would give the people who would like to see you and I banned from enjoying ourselves and practising our hobby of detecting, fossicking, fishing etc. in the great outdoors of our country ammunition to discredit everyone who signs the petition.

    Whinge of the day thread...

Totally agree Mackka, we are getting robbed blind by the big companies, my biggest bitch is about Woolworth and Coles, but I think it's with all big companies.

They are a great coil Grumpy, I found it much quieter than the minelab coils and it found plenty of really small pieces of gold as well as some bigger pieces fairly deep, good luck with it

    GPX6000 Coils, Opinions Sought

Thanks to all the people who posted thier views, thoughts and experiences on the 6000 coils, it's great food for thought, fortunately I've got plenty of time to decide which way to go before my next detecting trip. Cheers from Dave 🍻

    GPX6000 Coils, Opinions Sought

I've recently purchased a 6000 that came with minelab 11 and 14 inch coils and a Coilteck 9 inch round coil. I would be interested to hear from experienced 6000 users on thier opinions of the Coilteck 14x9 inch coil and the Nuggetfinder 12x7 coil. I'm thinking of getting one of the above coils...

Short Notice Trip Vic to Perth Esperance and Home

I would think your best options would be the Noresman and Coolgardie areas if you can find some pending ground, there's a guy in Coolgardie named Simon that has leases and takes people out to them and helps them to tune their machines and detect for a fee, I spent a day with him in April and...

    GPX 5000 Mono Coil Setting

Hi Dennis, I had a 5 and they are a very good machine, my advice from my own experience is: get a 12 inch Nuggetfinder evolution coil, it's light and I found plenty of really small pieces and some bigger pieces at depth, when you have your settings right the detector runs quiet and you will...

What are YOU doing right NOW

That was last year when the river was high there are hardly any ducks here at all now. We camp at the Balranald Caravan Park 19.3, they've got big drive-through sites and the facilities and the staff are great, I'm going to take a tinny up there one day and spend a few weeks fishing in the...

    Newspaper Headline

"INVASION! ALLIES POURING IN TO NORTHERN FRANCE!" 🗞 Front page headline of the San Francisco Chronicle and I would imagine many other newspapers around the world on this day in 1944.
