Pretty cool setup. Camping is so much easier these days as with setups like this you can have pretty much any mod con you want. You will love the tranquility when you change over to a 12v pump too. I would suggest carrying an extra chinese cheapy as a backup in case your main pump fails.

I think the 6000 will be a good option to consider for someone buying their first detector for sure. They should also consider the 5000 and of course the qed at a third the price. For any current gpx owners i would be waiting for comparison testing to make sure you arent taking a step sideways...

The voltax ones are already 50% off :lol: haha. But yeah, i would imagine they will become cheaper as the technology has been around a while whilst the voltax prices dont make me feel like i am being raped too badly, i couldnt imagine paying the price of some of the established brands are asking...

Hi anton.If you are prefering not to stick them directly onto the buttons of the remote, the concept should work just as well if you just stick them on the plastic cover directly above the buttons.

Seems like there are seven feature points at the far right of the box in the photo also, but cant make out any of those words

Of the three points with icons (under the photo of the 6000), the one left of the three says "find all gold" The middle one i can make out"____ expert" first word seems four letters edit: i got focused finally... the second one actually says "fast expert" Cant make out the third one on right...

One thing i can read on the box is "smart. All-gold detector" Is that refering to discrimination?

Just saw this on dp forum. That guy pulled the photo from facebook he reckons. Maybee a facebook user can locate the photo and capture a better res pic. Its just a bit too low to make out the features written on the box.

Noice one. How many kg's is that one? You got the same battery charger as i have. Did you read you can power up to 8amp 12v devices straight from the charger? Is a cool little extra feature i quite like.

One feature i like about the 100ah is the built in voltage and power level display. I noticed the 50ah voltax doesnt have that feature. Is pretty handy to have when sluicing/highbanker, to guage how much longer till the battery runs out of power. Just one less thing to have to think about

I would expect some kind of pre sale info/advertising for the upcoming release maybee a month or so before the actual release date (from minelab directly as they did with the vanquish). I would guess this will be early to mid february. It would be nice to get this information even a few weeks...
