Also, if you purchased the 4500 from Miners Den, the current package includes an 11" Commander Mono and 11" GP Series Double D. The Double D will allow you to use Iron Reject for really trashy areas as well as Cancel Mode for areas with extreme EMI.

Compare the cables on each, you'll see on the Commander Mono that the cable is perfectly round, if the GP Series appears a little flatter in circumference then it's a Double D, otherwise it's a Mono. They each have their uses, see the following taken from one of my earlier posts on the forum...

I agree GaryO. I really don't think sending members away from the forum will do the site any good.

People come and go for different reasons (myself included), but I'm sure they'll drop back in at some point. If not, their contribution to the forum and its members will always be remembered.

I feel the same, so I use one of these from Miners Den http://www.minersden.com.au/low-feedback-metal-detector-speaker/, it's nice and loud and doesn't distort on full blast.

Congrats Tracker, you did alright I'd say. Be sure to get yourself a quality padded cover for the control box (one that protects the feet) if it doesn't already come with one. Double "D" Leather make some good ones.

While it sounds like a great idea in theory, chat rooms can be detrimental to a forum as it's existence relies on new content being posted frequently. No new posts = no need to log into the forum as often = no need to keep the forum running.

No it's not waterproof, though it is claimed to be water resistant according to the manual.
