Pumps for a Highbanker - information and questions

definitely need a fuse mate, its rated and written on most bilge pumps. its more to do with low quality or non regulated batteries and batteries on the way out, a battery thats close to death might discharge at 14 volts causing a short which produces heat and will melt your good pump, an inline...

Getting fittings onto canvas layflat hose

you'll find most layflat hose is 38mm rather than 40mm so you'll need to use some grease of some sort, i use bearing grease on mine but anything will do, also you should use a rubber mallet to knock the camlock in, short sharp knocks

Looking for current news on Slatey Creek and sailors creek

there's always water somewhere at slaty, further up the system you go you'll find deeper bedrock pools, also alot of the side roads have dams, theres at least 5 i know of that have water all year round.

Anybody have a 6 inch Mini Cells Dream Mat Sluice?

there's some crazy ideas lets start with bending 3mm aluminum on an diy press brake (with any ease very difficult) 9 tonne would be the minimum rated load on 3mm. id stick with under 2mm I do encourage people to make thier own equipment though this thread is specifically about a gold rat mini 6...
