    Ended up with a few days solo until today (wife was busy) on a few of our old spots and had a good run with it,hit a small area we'd missed which gave up 20-25grms,just shy of 40 all up i think,most were with the 11,a few with the 14......

    Oh roger i thought u were over east When i put the 14 on i put it straight into normal,did the routine but it was noisy,into difficult and wandered off,the geosense seems to just make it handle the ground quite well as ya go,after a bit i had the dd back in normal and sensitivity up about 3/4...

    Any feedback on the 14dd nenad? If you ran it testing? The machine being so sensitive i'm thinking it might be worthwhile running it in wa until the 17 turns up,or is it best left in the cupboard for salt lakes etc?

    They made it to the yilgarn craton early,no word on the 17" though,14dd is surprisingly light,lookin foward to giving it a run next week,14 will be goin on for the virgin country,skid plates look like they'll let a lot of dirt through unless taped also.....

    Yep totally agree,slogging us for spare batteries a bit on a very expensive unit allready. Take note of that coil price though,stab in the dark here but that's kinda telling me the monos are nothing special??? Hopefully NF,coiltek or x coils will have others on offer at some stage....

    Yeah didn't think of that,thin foam would be ok,bubble wrap i'd probably end up sittin in the bush popping it like a kid during smoko breaks. The canvass covers are good though,they've kept our gear safe from wear and abuse pretty well over the years....

    Had another squizz at that 6 yesty,the wife wanted to have a look at it,while we where there the subject of covers came up,tried a cuppla of different gpz ones on it and this basic style one from DD is not a bad fit at all,the speakers not covered but i grabbed one,it will definetly do the job...
