I do not use a 6000 but i have friends in WA and NTH QLD both are finding a good amount of gold with their 6000 regards john

Tony i remember many years ago i was using a 18 kevlar on a 3500 and found gold it worked well i am in the golden triangle regards john

Tony i have used a 12 inch evo on my 45 and 5 i think it will handle the ground on a 3500 OK in fixed using the ground balance button and with the ground in WA you will be OK regards john :D

If you go for a 4500 make sure it is one of the last released ,i have used both 4500 and 5000 earlier this year i purchase a 5000 that was only 2 week old and decided to sell my 4500 after using both detector ,i felt the 5000 was just a bit better out of the 2 detectors. Have been very happy...

Have a good look at a SPO1 i have used one from when they were released ,a very good product regards john :D

A good friend is using a 3000 with a old 7x14 nugget finder mono on it ,he is regularly finding gold regards john :D

what state are you in i would not buy a 6000 at the moment until all teething problems are fixed

As you say just use it see how it goes ,if it was mine the only mod that would be done is a 4 or 6 poison frequency switch ,had it on my 2000 and it worked well regards john :Y:

With a DD on the detector and putting the switch in mono its using the coil like a mono but you are only using a portion of the coil :Y:
