Before coming home today I went to a nearby public ground surfaced area and had another crack at this small mound of dirt the old timers left. It's loaded with junk but there are bits in it.

Out and about meeting new people and aquiring new ground/properties. A couple of nice ones put in my hand 🥰

Pretty wild ey mate, Goldie did say 'missed ounces' 👌 If this is what the old timers didn't bother with, how insane will a little patch of the good ground they missed be 🤑

From 2 buckets of the clays on the bottom in that same spot, I have 2 ton of that put aside in case I don't get the opportunity to get at better ground..

After panning 2 buckets in my tub, the water looks like wet grey green pearl paint..

From what I can tell the liquid is related to the black material trapped in the clay which is decomposed wood. The gravel sample I took today (video coming)
