Here's an ornate necklace type three sided seal I found in about 1982. I got a beep, looked down, and it was lying on the surface amongst the leaf litter. The triangular piece in the centre still rotates. The seals words are, Am I welcome. Forget me not. Tho absent, ever dear. wiley.

Another Gothic Florin. 1878? Except for the black staining, this isn't in bad condition for a goldfields coin. wiley.

That's an excellent coin deepblue. I'll bet that wasn't found in the goldfields after 30 odd years of being carried around in miners pockets and thrown on the bar etc. like most of mine are. But, I'll take what I can get. wiley

Here's an 1881? Gothic Florin I found near Dunolly in 1987. It's called Gothic, as it has the date in roman numerals. mdccclxxxi. It's also called a Godless florin as it doesn't have Dei Gratia (By The Grace of God) on it. wiley.

Here's another Half Crown I found in my florin container. It's an 1836 version. This is in better condition than the last one I posted, which was almost smooth on the shield side.

Here's an item I found at Nuggety Gully, Tarnagulla in the early 80s. ( It's the only thing I've ever found there. No gold, ever!) It's very worn. It could be a garlic press, or a nut cracker. I tried cracking a brazil nut in it, But it crushed my fingers when the nut cracked! So I guess it...

Excellent detective work Goldierocks. I'd say you're right on the money there with matching the Battles of Alma, Inkerman and Balaclava to it. Also, both profiles are very similar. I found it near Tarnagulla. I'd given up on finding the history of it. Thanks for your help. wiley.
