Bluetooth use GPX 6000 and GPZ 7000

I tried it, problem is that the Aptx (low latency) transmitter created so much EMI it was unusable. If you could keep the transmitter at least 30cm away from the main body of the 7000 it would work and work well, but where do you put it? I guess you could add a short pillar to the screen box and...

    Palmer River.

I set off to do 2-3 years touring Aus that was back in 2011. Still going! Started of in an American 5th wheeler, what a piece of junk that was . Timber frame was nailed together (no glue) and the front almost snapped off due to construction methods, the overall problems were countless. USA =...

    Palmer River.

Coil got super touch sensitive (intermittent) on rocks, sticks, heavy grasses or tap with finger, it was so out of control even a test piece of gold on the ground couldn't be identified with all the pinging, squealing, and zapping going on. Had to put the 17" on & throw the junk in the car.

Aftermarket Coils for the GPX 6000 - Coiltek

Minelab got it right with the 7000, being a square shaft that couldn't twist and turn and with all this knowledge the reverted back to round twisty, turny one on the 6000 (much better than the 5000 was though) the mind boggles what goes through their minds? Like the coil cable why does it stick...

Heard of some good finds in the last week or so, anyone know if the grass burn has been carried out yet? Sending my rooted 11" 6000 coil back to minelab today, along with my rooted satellite TV receiver & my wife's rooted phone (all rooted in the same week in Georgetown) should be sorted in the...

    Gold nugget wanted

Here's a few nuggets not been soaked in Alibrite as I'm not near to a supercheap auto store to buy some so there's a fun job for you. Can't see any quartz but nuggets usually have a few tiny specs (Alibrite will eat it if present) $83 gram plus $15 postage. Jewelry finished piece $1,250

135AH Lithium LiFe PO4 install proposed.

Yes it will fit if you get the Solar King battery. Solar regulator must have Lithium profile, normal agm 240v charger is ok if you have 240v. 40 - 50 amps charging is good

    Gold nugget wanted

Yes that's a really nice Nugget, hangs perfectly so you can't see the hanger if worn and looks like a bull or rams head. Was found in Victoria nr Beaufort (50km west of Ballarat. Might have others, I think there's a 13 grammer but not cleaned, I'll have a look in the bucket later.

    Gold nugget wanted

Yes that is a tiny bit of quartz pretty normal to get a bit after all it did originate from a quartz matrix. At least you know its not crappy melted down jewelry. If the price was right (make an offer) I'd consider selling the nugget necklace, the loop was made from reef gold fines so colour...

    Hopefully i got a bargain - SDC2300

Have a look at the Minelab site and check the serial number yourself, don't believe everything someone from cash converters tells you. It only takes a few minutes. (due diligence) This will only tell you it's genuine Minelab (enough fake Minelab detectors around for them to make this service...

Selling gold - how, why, where

I know there's a point where you are considered to be a professional but can't remember (because it doesn't apply to me) what the exact $ value of finds is, I think it was around the $30k mark where you would have to register your sole trader business, so if you don't sell it (gold) through an...
