Today my wife surprised me with a GM1000! Pretty stoked to say the least, I panned my first bit of gold yesterday but came down with the flu today so that present was a nice pickmeup, Can't wait to have a crack with it :D

Well we had a blast today, no gold but dug up a few relics, we met a panner down in the nearby creek who showed us his finds for the day and his tips and techniques, pretty good day all round nice weather and some new skills! :Y:
