    Buying gold. :)

Btw, any amount would be considered for purchase wether it be a gram or an ounce or two. I'm open to negotiate on whatever is on offer. :D

    Buying gold. :)

Ultimately It would depend how clean the gold is, and what purity should be expected, but usually around 80-90% of spot, roughly the same as what is offered by the mint. Which would equate to approx $40 per gram. Possibly more for small clean pendant sized nuggets. Funds are sometimes limited...

Your tips for negotiating a better outcome

Anyone here given the gpz a proper field test yet? Positive results? I hear they are a great all-round machine but for that kind of money I thought one would be better off buying a gpx5000 or a Garrett atx and save the rest for travel? Is there anything more to gain with a z? :/

G'day from the northeast of vic. :)

Hoping it's a good time to be getting into it, there's supposed to be plenty of rainfall over this way in the coming weeks, I hear that makes all the difference. :D Hoping to eventually get a bit further out to see what other areas are like but living only 20 minutes from Eldorado is a plus...

    Gold concentrates

Thanks tom, I guess I just need to try a few different things and see what works, Didn't expect it to be easy, but after seeing this I know there's improvements that have got to be made.

G'day from the northeast of vic. :)

Hello there fellow prospectors, just fairly recently got into the hobby, best lifestyle choice I've ever made! found the forums to be one of the most valuable places for information, (in conjunction with some YouTube videos of course) Just a young lad myself (20yrs), but I love going out...

    Gold concentrates

I'm using a little high banker I bought from a local prospector, and it seems to catch some really fine stuff so I'm not sure that I'm losing any, after first couple attempts I started to put a pan under it to see if I was losing any but didn't seem to make it that far, I used miners moss at...

    Prospecting in Central Queensland

I'm new to prospecting myself, only been at it a few months now, I knew roughly where to start as I'm in the northeast not too far from beechworth/Eldorado, Panning skills are improving, and we're finding gold there, but struggling to find anything respectable, just a lot of super fine flour...

    ⭐ Gold Detecting Show'n Tell

:o I wish I could find some decent flakes or even the occasional picker in the pan, yet to find anything with a detector, the stuff you blokes seem to find regularly puts my efforts to shame :8 , all we seem to get in the northeast of Victoria is super fine flour gold, and a few real tiny...
