Look Who I Found - Nugget?

I can say with confidence that I know for a fact that since that time "Nugget" did stick to what he was trying to achieve. Against all odds and with plenty of jealous knockers on the sidelines he is still out there doing what many people dream of doing!

Look Who I Found - Nugget?

I know he has his own Mining Lease with all the extra regulations that go with having one, including rehabilitation.

Look Who I Found - Nugget?

Is this the member "Nugget" on this forum, I say not ? I came across this YouTube clip which is the fella we all know as "Nugget" in the Crocodile Dundee movies. I expect not too many of you knew about what he is doing now ?

    areas in jimna Qld

My father knew a fella years ago who worked for the forestry in the Jimna area that said he had found gold stuck to the clay in the groves of his shoe's tread.

    GPZ7000 release, questions and information

Going by the amount of positive feedback in regards to the SDC2300's Very Fine Gold timing detecting nuggets that the GPX5000's Fine Gold timing has missed then I would think this new GPZ7000 will be as successful by detecting further nuggets that fall within holes in the GPX timings.

    Minelab GPX4000 tips, settings, questions

My mate is having his best success with the NF14" mono on his 4000. Damn amazing the size of smaller nuggets he has snagged with this coil in its Smooth timing which has produced his best nugget haul so far. Did an air test between his 4000 in its Smooth timing with this 14" mono against my...

    Minelab GT16000 tips, settings, questions

Look forward to hearing about what your GT ends up locating at the beach. As I mentioned to you in another thread about a certain setting to try on the goldfield if it is highly mineralised ground, then a setting I found I needed at the beach for maximum depth and smoother operation over damp...

    Warwick Qld. information and questions

I still have my GT16000 that I purchased new way back in 1989. After fixing a power lead from one of the battery banks it still operates. It has good discrimination on rubbish metal targets if not set to high if chasing coins. One setting I've tried and tested recently and one which I had...

    Amplifier/speaker/signal booster information

I also have one of those so named "Nugget Booster V.3" for use with a GPX if that is the one you are referring too which also operates using the detector's battery as does the Rooster Booster. Some testing that I've have done between both of these boosters showed they produced a similar response...

    Amplifier/speaker/signal booster information

I believe there does seem to be a difference between my Rooster Booster and my friends B&Z as the B&Z appears to be a more mellow sound and the RB more squawky.

    3500 v F1A4 Jack Lange stage 2

Fair enough, but for me I would have more belief in what the member "PhaseTech" thinks about both detectors then what Jack Lange says.

    Advice on a pinpointer

Okay AngerManagement by placing my ML PP against the ground before switching it on I am doing a Ground Balance. I always thought you get less depth once a detector (Pinpointer in this case) is Ground Balanced to what it achieved in an Air Test.

    Advice on a pinpointer

Here is something to think about when I tested my Minelab Pro Find Pinpointer. After switching on the PP and setting it to its highest 5 sensitivity setting I can get 50mm on a 5c coin from the tip of the PP in an air test. Then I try to lay the PP horizontally on mineralised ground but it...

    Minelab GT16000 tips, settings, questions

Out of curiosity I recently tried 8 AA NiMh rechargeable batteries and my GT worked okay. Now edited to add this "But for how long will it run for, which I am yet to test"

    Bash a detector thread

Unfortunately the price of advancement does not go up by millimetres......I recall after a certain ML release any advancements in the future will be done via a special port included with that model.....but that did not happen.
