Scored a few nuggets from the Palmer river recently with a minelab gold monster 1000.

I reckon keep your gold, gold is basically a pure form of currency, in fact the only form of currency accepted everywhere in the world, Id rather shiny yellow money than plastic money that if worth nothing when something big happens in the world.

I also have tried to get good fault line maps for the Palmer river, struggling but Ill find a good sight soon enough.

Living up here its good to have a local shop come about, hope they do well and I hope the locals get looked after.

Soon to be unemployed, I live up cape York so it's hard to get work, if anybody wants to visit the northern gold feilds I can offer services for a fee, including finding locations and research, camp cooking(I'm a chef), cleaning, firewood collection, water collection digging up your targets...

G'day guys been a long time reader, I hate the subscribeing/joining part of the internet as it bad with technology, but I've finally bit the bullet and joined. Livening in Cooktown and prospecting starke and Palmer river gold fields. All alluvial as I'm yet to afford a detector.
