Hi Grump I just sold mine, but kinda wish I hadn't. Good old machine, Punches deep even with a dd There's one for sale on gumtree. It's over priced but throw out an offer, can't hurt.

Like everyone has said mate.. take his offer up. There's not many detectors for $300 that will produce the goods like the 705. And most importantly you'll have a heap of fun.. then you'll be hooked and before long... gold fever sets in. :playful:

Hey Goldie I was panning near dog trap creek. I did smash up a few bits of quartz and just panned the lot with a shovel full of creek dirt. I Also got a few specs of gold out of same pan.

Yeah. It shines in the sun. I knew it had silver in it. Better than my usual blue metal lol

I had a closer look. There's only a tiny bit in one corner. The other stuff does look like silver. Edit: I got it at Mogo NSW and I think there was a fair bit of silver around that area back in the day.
