    Reedy Creek, Eldorado.

Yeah I dare say there definitely won't be 3 there, but I reckon it would be over 2.

Yeah mate, that was me. Were you one of the guys that came and say G'Day? Can't remember the usernames. :P

No mate, I haven't dried it of and weighed it yet. But at a guess, between 2 - 3 grams, maybe.

    Reedy Creek, Eldorado.

Last weekend I went back up to Reedy Creek and almost to the same spot, only 15m downstream from the above report. After being there for a day and a half and it pretty much constantly raining, here are my takings...

    ⭐ Alluvial Show n Tell

So last weekend, I went up to Reedy Creek, Eldorado again. Was up there from early Saturday morning until Sunday lunch time shoveling in the constant rain. Again, had an absolute blast up there and can't wait to get back. Here's my takings from the trip.

    North East Creek

I'd be getting under that thing pronto mate. Don't die wondering, get in there and have a look. I'm heading up that way tomorrow, if you don't want to have a look, let me know where it is and I'll move it for ya. I promise we'll share the spoils. :D

    Reedy Creek, Eldorado.

I'm glad you got some answers mate, as those who gave you answers know a lot more than I do when it comes to gold. In my opinion though, I can't see why someone wouldn't try using a detector up in the area mate. With amount of gold that's come out of the creek, you would think that the...

    Reedy Creek, Eldorado.

I'm not to sure mate, don't know much about stones at all.

    Reedy Creek, Eldorado.

Just a reminder to newbies (like me) to not be lazy. Since I got back from Eldorado a few weeks ago, my highbanker and equipment have been sitting in my garage and even though I've been meaning to get it out and run the hose over everything to give it a clean, I haven't. Until this afternoon...

    Reedy Creek, Eldorado.

So, I've finally managed to pan everything I brought home from my first trip out to Eldorado and also the first time using my highbanker. Once again I must thank Wal for the highbanker plans as I seriously can't believe how well it catches the tiniest pieces of gold, unreal. It did take a...

They look really good and a decent size. I'll definitely keep my eye out for them while looking for all this tiny gold and I'll let you know how I go mate.

    Reedy Creek, Eldorado.

Excellent mate, cheers for shedding some light on what they may be.

    Reedy Creek, Eldorado.

Yeah cheers mate, I'll have to suss them out and do some experimenting next time I take it out. I'll make sure I keep the videos coming, not only to share my experience, but also hopefully the more experienced folk on here pull me up on something they may see me doing wrong and let me know.

    Reedy Creek, Eldorado.

Yeah I'm not too sure about the stones mate. I know more about gold than gems and I know very little about gold. :P I've panned very little of the material so far, but it's littered with tiny pieces of gold, so that's given me confidence I had the banker running reasonably well. As I said...

    Reedy Creek, Eldorado.

Patience my friend, I'll put up a photo of it once I'm finished. Haven't even done a full pan yet, the photo above was from half a scoop just to show the tiny coloured stones.

    Reedy Creek, Eldorado.

Here's a little video of the area I was camped in and digging from. Please excuse all the sniffing as I have the flu and the sleep in the car didn't help. http://youtu.be/vKvcz09IYNA

Respect nature and nature will respect you.

    Reedy Creek, Eldorado.

Hey mate, here's a photo of some of the tiny coloured stones amongst the black sand I was talking about. Just want to know if I come across any larger ones, should I be keeping them? I tell you what though, it's gonna take me months to pan all this material with all this black sand, coloured...

    Reedy Creek, Eldorado.

I did that to the front legs and made a platform from a few rocks to place under the rear legs. I only did that as it felt like I could have pushed the rear legs all the way into the ground.
