AlgoForce E1500 - NEW PI DETECTOR FROM EX MINELAB ENGINEER

The solar rechargeable battery bank came with it to hang it while it’s recharging, but as it pokes through that gap in the support legs, I use it to hang the whole detector in the cupboard.

    Smelting gold for a ring

This goldsmith in Adelaide will use your nuggets and even alloy them to bring them to the desired carat for extra hardness, I had this ring made for the wife with my own opal stone. It was alloyed to 22 Carat. http://www.thegoldsmithery.com.au/

AlgoForce E1500 - NEW PI DETECTOR FROM EX MINELAB ENGINEER

Don’t worry bro.... most ground ain’t flat like a table top so a little extra width at the armrest should make a difference in the bush.

AlgoForce E1500 - NEW PI DETECTOR FROM EX MINELAB ENGINEER

I think this little mod will also help to stop it tipping over when setting it down to dig all those nuggets that are going to be popping up....😂

AlgoForce E1500 - NEW PI DETECTOR FROM EX MINELAB ENGINEER

The only thing that concerns me about this super lightweight machine is the vulnerability of the USB power bank to the rigours of the gold detecting environment. Putting it down in the dirt continuously won’t do these devices and their Velcro straps much good in the long term. I think Nenad...

Woody from Detectormods has pulled one down already and gives it’s build quality the thumbs up👍

AlgoForce E1500 - NEW PI DETECTOR FROM EX MINELAB ENGINEER

Well I took the punt on the new kid on the block and grabbed one from Nenad. I based my decision on what I have seen from our compatriot @ Phrunt from across the ditch. He has some great vids over on the DP forum of the machine in action on some pretty small gold. Also shows it’s target ID’s...

    Return after 3 year Break

A bit hard with a broken detector. Nenad quite often has 2nd hand coils for sale. Anyway I’m sure he could advise you of all your options.

    Return after 3 year Break

Sorry to hear about your coil ears breaking (a common issue with Nox coils). Do you deal through Nenad aka PhaseTech on here. He’s a Minelab agent and lives in Shiedow Pk. He is great at dealing with issues like these and local to both of us. For me I consider myself fortunate to be able to do...

How much does it cost in fuel to drive to Kalgoorlie, for you?

    I own a 2011 Forester 2.5L petrol and get 9/10 litres/ 100 around town.

How much does it cost in fuel to drive to Kalgoorlie, for you?

If you can, try and plan your trip for a weather window with consistent tailwinds like this coming few days.... as in weather maps like you see here, with southeasterly/ easterly winds. http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/charts/4day_col.shtml Your Forester should return around 8 or 9 litres/...

    Return after 3 year Break

Looks like we’re practically neighbours then. Actually I was at Brighton today looking to take take advantage of the crowds that were there yesterday for the Maraliyn jetty swim. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-02-04/marilyn-monroe-lookalikes-make-a-splash-in-adelaide/103425556 My first target...

    Return after 3 year Break

Welcome Liz.... I’m also in Adelaide and mainly beach hunt between Henley and Seacliff as I live in Hallett Cove. Hot summer weather has finally kicked in and the crowds are flocking to the beaches in numbers at last. Consequently there have been slim pickings to this point ( for me anyway), so...

    New PI from Garrett, Axiom

You and your wife have the ideal situation to do a side by side comparison with an undug target ( gold preferably) on the two machines.... would be interesting to see by how much the 6000 trumps the Axiom on size and depth.

AlgoForce E1500 - NEW PI DETECTOR FROM EX MINELAB ENGINEER

Moneybox, I’m pretty sure it’s there to tell you about the size, and therefore relative conductivity of the target (low on small gold and higher on larger bits). It won’t discriminate between ferrous and non ferrous I believe, unless there are any tonal differences between the two. Most probably...

AlgoForce E1500 - NEW PI DETECTOR FROM EX MINELAB ENGINEER

As Nenad is the sole agent atm, I wonder if he has had some input in its development. There are some attractive new ideas, like compatibility with GP/GPX coils, external generic power bank options and ambient noise function through headphones. Looks well made.... may have to visit Mr. Lonic :)

Why not gift him a voucher from a place like this. https://goldandrelics.com.au/ There are others as well. Good luck.

    Whites SPP Adding Conductivity switch

I think you just need to find a suitable spot on the top or front of the housing that will accommodate the switch internally and drill a hole the same size as the shaft of the switch. Then silicone seal between the housing and washers and tighten up. There is a toggle switch mounted on the front...

    Whites SPP Adding Conductivity switch

Yes, I did it myself with the switch and and wired plug as you showed in your previous post. They were supplied to me by ‘Luke’ , a Whites guru who new the Tdi’s very well. He has long since disappeared from the forum. From memory he told me to bridge the terminals at C42 ( I think) on the...
