    Origins of heavy elements

I am talking about modern physics, I am just questioning what they are trying to achieve. If we work out how it all works we can not change anything that cant be changed now. We seem to think with knowledge we can change the world but it seems to be the other way around the more we know the more...

    Origins of heavy elements

Yeah I get that but trying to understand how we came about is giving nothing to technological advancements in our civilisation, just theories.

    Origins of heavy elements

Its hard when its just theory. Theoretical Physics is still that, theory for all the money that is spent what actual outcome have we seen? Very difficult for them to claim that a earth size blob of gold comes out of it as the words, by estimates and physicists understand. We have been pumping...

    Best metal detector for kids?

Hey Tim, The GO Find would be your obvious choice. My kids use my Deus as it is light and the shaft setup allows it to be used at any length but with a $2000 price tag this might not in Santas budget. The GO Finds are okay but you get what you pay for at $300. The ace 300i is a good price...

    GPZ7000 19" coil GPZ19 information and questions

Yeah I love the Z19, just like the Z in the first place is a learning curve but once you know her she is a beast. Just forget about all the crap you read as the Z got that in it's infancy too and just buy one and use it. ohh and get ready to dig big holes really big holes.

    Minelab Minelab GPZ7000 vs SDC2300

The SDC is a mighty machine and for a first time user cannot be beat in hot ground and it will see pourus reefy gold that the Z and the GPX's cannot see and that is fact. But the Z is a far better all rounder if you are serious about this game and some of the depth claims by people with the SDC...

SDC2300 aftermarket coil information and questions

Mate how big was the bit of tin at 900mm, thats 3 feet and my SDC does not punch that deep, in fact I have only dug one target with the GPZ that was close to 3 feet.

    XP Deus Target Separation

My feeling on the reactivity is the higher it is the less the Deus locks onto a target not saying higher settings misses targets just does not seem to single out the nice tone as well but with a higher reactivity seems to blend some of the tones together. But like anything in detecting when...

    CTX madness 2017

I took $500 in the other day and the teller asked if I wanted cash and questioned it as I thought you had to deposit but she told me $500 and under can be cash and does not need to be deposited. Don't know whether she was full of s#@t but took the cash anyway.

    Grading coins

Straight to APCGS and just send some other coins with it. Mate any coin found in the ground is not going to grade to well as you have to clean them which limits you to XF and below. Does not matter what the other coins you send are, just send a couple of $1 and $2 coins with it.

Minelab Minelab Equinox tips and questions

Yeah reading about magnetic field generator in the coil has got me intrigued. Lets face it if it can process both the ground and target simultaneously, target ID would be better than anything we have seen to date. Wonder if the coil will be wireless

4WD; What do you drive and why?

Toyota all the way, if you head west from the coast you will start to notice something everywhere you look you see Landcruisers and there is a good reason for that. Just about every station has a Crusier ute on it and they are stock, no lift kits or fancy crap, just split rims, skinny tyres and...

Minelab Minelab CTX3030 tips, settings, questions

Its a good coil for sure very solid. If you are park hunting it really as no advantage over the 11 stock coil but on the beach it kicks arse as it sinks, gives good depth, smooth operation and good ground coverage.
