    Minelab Should I upgrade to a GPZ7000?

You will not be disappointed with the Z. I train for my prospecting expeditions just like I do for my golf with heavy pack hikes and weight training. I dont want to crap out when it comes time for me to spend 2 weeks with the Z in hand. I use a Camelbak HAWG mil tac pack with all the junk with...

Minelab Equinox 800 use on gold - Tips, settings and questions

I tried it in some of the hottest ground in North Queensland on rubbish filled patches but had to lower the sensitivity so much that the Z was finding the small stuff that the Nox didnt even see. I think in mild ground dynamite, but really struggles at higher sensitivity with ground noise. Wish...

Minelab Minelab Equinox tips and questions

Nah the 6 inch coil will not be on my list the 11 does it pretty well. Maybe the 15 though will see. The 14x9 was just to heavy on the CTX and really did not offer much more coverage so dont know yet but a new toy is a new toy.

Minelab Minelab GPX5000 tips, settings and questions

I am only giving you an opinion on the 5000. I owned a 5000 and then got the Z and will not be going back. If you want a 4500 or 5000 to be a Z then you will be disappointed as you have found out. In milder ground the 5000 isnt very far behind but in hot ground the Z leaves all else in the dust...
