Use the SARIG website to see what claims are out that way, active or historical. Also turn on the layer for "gold" mineral resource and it will bring up all the know fields and deposits for this state

When you say never ground balance do you just mean you run sensitivity on 10 max, not the auto 1 or 2. Does the machine still balance itself as you swing it and use it even on max 10?

Oh wow, nice piece Rockhunter62 Do you find you rely on the discrimination or just dig everything? Most reports I have read say run in max sensitivity not auto.

Can anyone give me an idea of the possible depth the GM will get a larger nugget, say a 1 gram or even 5 grams. I know how good it is on the tiniest of peices but I was wondering if its worth getting one to work heavily trashy sites from the old timers where there's still good gold
