Yeah mate WA, managed 61g this trip for just over a weeks work. Biggest was 29g with the 7g 2nd biggest. I have spent plenty of time in Vic finding the sub .1 grammers too 🤣

Long time between posts, Picked up this 7g nugget with the 6k from an old patch. Thought I had cleared this out with the Zed but managed this one and 4 other sub grammers in a short couple hour session.

Any help :argh: I'm probably going to head out there tomorrow and maybe swag it out if weather's good :perfect:

Done plenty of gold detecting in the crawford area but planning a gemstone hunting trip soon. Where do I start looking in this area, gravels in the creek or through the pines? What's the geology I should be looking for :gemstone:

Picked up this decent slug with the monster. Real trashy area, couldn't swing the 7k so put the monster in auto as the ground was very hot and dug the non ferrous only. Paid off as this was just below the surface about 1" down, went 8.7 grams

As long as it hasn't changed I contacted Mount Victor Station, owned by jumbuck pastoral via Email. Coincidentally I re emailed them last week about visiting again and have had no response. If anybody can confirm the contact would be appreciated.

Those little black rocks are haematite, Crawford has plenty of them and they can sound just like a tiny nugget. Looks like your doing the right things from your finds, small lead shot plus the small haematite so keep at it. This is my only nugget from Crawford after several trips, got it 2...

I have both and from what you have said I would reccomend Nox 800 and a 6" coil. Very capable on the small shallow gold VLF's love and you will love finding coins and relics when not out on gold fields.

Spot on mate, was fully encased in mud and as a kinder surprise. Didn't see it in the scoop until all that was left was the clump. Pulled it out and waved over the coil for that sweet sound :Y:

Went out for a swing with OzzieAu in the Adelaide hills. Managed this 2 grammer with the Zed, High Yeild / Normal sensitivity 17 and a slow swing speed Beautiful peice, very reefy/porous
