    Can't get carbon monoxide poisoning from burning propane only butane. Thats why it's illegal to fill BBQ & household lpg bottles from auto gas pumps. Just one of the things you have to know to be able to retail lpg. Propane gives off carbon dioxide.

    Shellite was a seperate fuel product & I stand to be corrected if wrong but I believe it was used extensively in dry-cleaning. This being why a lot of dry-cleaners had fire's because of it's volatility & Mike your right it was a Coleman still have a Kero one as well as a tilly that won't hold...

    Used to have one when I was a kid that ran on shellite. was really scary to light just pump up pressure, turn on & light used to go whoomp. Brother had it, when I asked about it, that old thing i threw it up the dump. :mad:

    Son bought a Hilux when he worked for Komatsu, NOT from them, he got it for a song and spent a lot of time on it, He's a diesel fitter and was to keep him busy when home but what a bucket. He done alright out of it but he's never done another one.

    My old dad passed away 37 years ago but I remember having a talk with him once about something similar to this. He said thats why we went to war so we have the right to be free and choose for ourself, not be told like in some countries at he moment.

    Hey Gpx5000 I don't do things by halves. I have always bought bread flour in 10 kilo bags. Asked DIL to get SR flour, only had this size so thats what she got, but have some friends who will take some off us so all is good. :) bloody things gone up wrong way again

    VEGE PATCH. What's growing in yours?

    I put in 3 jap, got seeds from kitchen, each plant had 1 pumpkin read in a weekend paper not a good year for pumpkins in SA this season hardly had any female flowers cucumber had heaps on them guess thats how it goes sometimes. Planted around 300 garlic today can't cook properly without garlic :)

    What did they do in the Great Depression.

    Can remember going fishing with my old Dad & he'd fry bread in dripping and serve it up with home made sauce on it. Used to say that was all they had to eat sometimes, just done it to let us know what they went through
