Chocolate bars - Cold or Room Temperature?

Thanks for the input guys. Things were a bit awkward this morning after my tanty last night, but we drove to the GT for the day to do some work on the weekender and to my surprise Mrs D bought me a another hazelnut chocolate bar on the way :) We take separate cars because mine tows the trailer...

Chocolate bars - Cold or Room Temperature?

Ok, so I don't often completely go Troppo. But tonight, Mrs D lit my fuse with one of my all time dislikes- She put my bloody hazelnut chocolate bar in the fridge crisper! ]:D And she knows darn well that I hate cold chocolate. It seems petty I know, but if I put her wine in the sun to warm, or...

    Mystery object.

I can see why it evolved into that modern version from those two photos. Just about every used star picket still in the ground has the tip of the long side bent and burred over from being whacked into the ground. I guess modern alloys allowed them to do that and still maintain its strength...

    Australian History

I have no idea Ozzie, but its design seems to suggest that it was to perhaps help dissipate heat via all of those extra fins? At first I thought maybe to help with expansion, but then I guess galvanized steel sheet wouldn't last long expanding back and forth. :/

    John Elliott has died

That's how I will always remember him too Manpa. That and his pig-headed sense of entitlement when he thought he should be exempted from the newly introduced MCG No-Smoking rules back in the day.

Does anyone know what this is?

Under Australian Law Ambergris is considered to be a Whale product, and as whacky as it may sound, collecting, keeping, selling etc is governed by a whole raft of rules and regulations of our glorious nanny state. Apparently it is used in many of the high-end perfumes of the world, and is sought...

I've often wondered about that Numpty. Dirty great big voids where there was once reserves of fossil fuels. I wonder if Goldierocks could chime in and shed any light on that theory?

Availability question That I am curious about.

Hi Don, I just checked their website and came across this- I live in the same state as their factory (Victoria) and we have just come out of a statewide lock-down in regional and rural areas, which has impacted on supply chains and the number of people that you can have in a building at any...

    Went for a swing 2020

Nice one Eldorado. Found in an old swimming hole is a dead give away. It's a brass latch from an early 1920's Oggle Goggle box. Almost always found near water (the wood rotted away a long time ago), and sadly the brass latch and corner plates are all that are usually left to find of this once...
