Dry blowing days

Going through a pile of old photos, I found this one.
Myself, Neil & Chris, dry blowing mates at Ringneck (Near Kambalda) in 1990. We blew a nice little pile of fine gold, needed a few icy coldies after each long dusty day.

Just found this one found taken near old workings when we were on the road with Mr & Mrs ****ook (Mike & Chris) Maybe Yarri Road?
Oldtimers went to a lot of trouble building this ingenious pulley, probably to haul the skip in the mine?

I'm packing to head bush for a few days. I needed batteries for the headlamp and GPS so I ducked out to the bus and grabbed a handful of new Duracell AA's.

These batteries were manufactured in 2021, good until 2031 but they are now in the bin before they destroy my electrical devices.

Yes Phil and for all those folks that store anything that uses a battery, cameras, portable radios, Garrett AT gold etc, etc, remember to take all batteries out before putting stuff away in storage. Christmas decorations also. Mackka
