I'll kick it off with an Australian 1930 coin find(found under my detector) from a park.
When you've been searching as long as I have, you have to have a lucky break now and again,
That was definitely a zero at the end.
That ear of the old boys is in pretty good shape,..just a pity it's not an old match box tin find.
It's a bit scabby,.. but maybe that might come away easily,.. leaving a nice coin.
some 1930 Australian coins have only 3,000 coins minted(Penny),...with only 1,500 accounted for.
Sadly this one had 638,000 made.
And is only a 1930 Half Penny and not the elusive 1930 penny,...which by the way would have still been worth lots of dollars even in this condition.
Still,...I'm happy to have found this one,...anyway.
