I was hunting the beach and came across this, i have a feeling it might be a birth/death plate from an Urn maybe?? Any ideas ?!?
 
Hmm i've tried searching but so far nada... I might make up a marker and go back tomorrow to the exact location and place the tag on a post or something above the high water mark

I went back up and placed the nameplate where i found it and made a makeshift memorial. Rest in peace Vicki
 
Thanks everyone :) it just felt like the right thing to do.. I must admit it's been driving me to insomnia trying to find who she was :/
 
If it bothers you that much then Births deaths and marriages with that info should suffice eh?
Or maybe your local magistrates court?
 
Great work buddy. Great idea a credit to all detectorist that do the right thing.
