Dave
So, only 4 weeks to go and then the boss and I are off on our first ever "long distance" fossicking holiday.
We hope spend about 2 weeks in the New England area. Somewhere I've never been before. We plan to stay in motel or cabin style accommodation.
Our plan is to stop first at Tinga Sands for a day looking for crystals.
Then on to Inverell and Glen Innes. We do plan to visit Emmaville to check out the mining museum at some stage.
Any suggestions on where an old 65yo, but still fairly active fella and his missus could go and reasonably expect to dig a pretty stone or three, would be greatly appreciated. My new Subaru is AWD but not 4WD so not too far off the beaten track please.
Thanks in advance,
Dave.
