This was todays build took 3.5 hours at a cost of $o.oo using scraps that were laying around the shop
took a few hints off other forum users
the last one is how long it is also its 10" wide and 12" at the inlet

Have to say that I am pleased that 7.62marksman has finally got an avatar photo that is not a squashed version of the SLRL1A1. Great rifle back in the day...7.62 was a heavy hitting round. :)
 
So that section that is 780x225mm is square (90 degrees) . It doesn't taper at all? (e.g. 275mm down to 225mm at the end)
 
Ok. That's what I was wondering when we were speaking about it yesterday with the expanded mesh being large enough and having to much of a gap towards the top. I thought it tapered there also.
 
Getting myself a Minelab X-TERRA 705 Dual Pack so that means i had to hit Bunnings for new gear and then the shed (well back yard i have no shed)
and have everything ready for when my baby turns up

Mate i cant wait but not arriving until late next week (then we can teach each other) i have a park 50m from my house it is going to get hit hard as i have never seen anyone detecting in the parks at all here (have 3 large parks and the show grounds within a kilometer radius) it seams that i may be the only one in town that does any detecting if i am wrong (hope i am not lol) i am sorry
